ICYMI - 2025: A year of momentum, what we built, what we learned

d4e63d767ce096ddae63536625738879d5a158d9-1200x627

As we close out an extraordinary year, I'm proud to reflect on the momentum we've built together—our customers, partners, and the incredible Valorx team.

2025 was not just a year of growth; it was a year of acceleration.

01
Bold engineering met real business outcomes.
02
Turned complexity into clarity for thousands of Salesforce users.
03
Redefined what productivity means inside the Salesforce ecosystem.

The world is moving faster than ever, and expectations have changed. Teams no longer have patience for fragmented workflows, slow systems, or disconnected spreadsheets that demand endless reconciliation. They want speed, simplicity, and data they can trust. And this year, we made major leaps forward to deliver exactly that.

Wave Embedded — A breakthrough year for customer productivity

Wave Embedded continued to redefine what is possible inside Salesforce. We set out to build the most powerful Salesforce-native grid experience on the market—and we delivered.

Matrix: built for high-impact decisions

Our biggest release of the year brought the Matrix experience - an excel-like pivot table with intelligent roll-up and roll-down, slicing, dicing, comparing, data modelling capabilities.

What makes it truly powerful is the smart distribution logic: weighted averages, smart distributions, and configurable allocation methods that customers can apply at scale.

With math formulas fully supported, teams now model scenarios, score leads, analyze product catalogs, and build forecasting models with precision that spreadsheets simply can't match.

Embedded everywhere

Wave is now truly ubiquitous across Salesforce.

Users get a true Excel experience inside Salesforce—copy-paste, drag-and-fill, header filters, all the familiar interactions they know.

In a familiar interface, Matrix deliver Excel-like pivot tables with full feature parity to Grids, so there's no compromise on power.

Admins gain enterprise controls: define exactly how users interact with grids and matrices, scaling seamlessly from small teams to enterprise organizations.

Smarter related lists with Hierarchical views provide deeper context without ever leaving the grid.

And while our embedded experience grew stronger than ever, two capabilities stood out this year—reshaping how teams think about Salesforce data altogether.

FEATURE HIGHLIGHTS · 2025

Two features that quietly changed everything in 2025

Beyond being embedded everywhere, these are the capabilities our teams kept coming back to in real customer conversations.

1

Mass Modifier

Turned bulk updates into a single, controlled action—saving hours of cleanup and dramatically improving data quality.

2

Historical Views

Gave teams time-travel visibility into Salesforce data, so leaders see not just the numbers, but how they changed over time.

We've also expanded globally—Wave now supports Japanese and German. And we've integrated native Salesforce actions, so users can call Flows, LWC components, or Aura components directly from row and grid actions.

With more than a hundred customer-requested features delivered this year, Wave is faster, more flexible, and enterprise-ready—while keeping the simplicity that makes it beloved.

Grid technology: Data without boundaries

Grids have become ubiquitous throughout our platform—the foundational building block enabling everything Wave does. They can now be deployed anywhere: as standalone components in web applications, embedded within Salesforce flows, integrated into custom builds, or woven into third-party ecosystems.

What's truly transformative is that business teams can now assemble sophisticated, interactive data experiences with visual building tools—no specialized code required.

We've democratized what was once the domain of developers, turning complex data challenges into intuitive, visual productivity.

Google Sheets experience, Salesforce data power

We rebuilt core components of the Google Sheets rendering engine —leveraging newer Google APIs to deliver an experience that feels like Google Sheets.

But here’s what makes it different: it's powered by Valorx grids working with live Salesforce data. Salesforce gives you the data. Valorx makes managing it effortless.

We knew the bar: Google Sheets' flexibility, Excel's power. We matched both. Then we went further—with capabilities spreadsheets simply can't deliver when it comes to Salesforce data management.

The result is 12x faster performance than before, with the flexibility teams expect and the data integrity enterprises demand.

With our 30-day Matrix trial, organizations saw firsthand how much time could be saved by eliminating manual spreadsheet work.

And we’re not done.

In 2025, Wave shipped 14 releases and delivered 200+ enhancements. Yes, we counted. 😄 We achieved complete feature parity between Wave Embedded and native Salesforce page-level customization.

That's not incremental progress—that's a watershed moment. With that milestone locked in, we're now focused on what comes next.

2025 was a huge year for engineering. 2026 will be a huge year for impact.

Fusion — Workflow automation at enterprise scale

Fusion scaled in a big way this year, built to handle higher volumes and more complex processes than ever before. It’s like adding express elevators to a skyscraper: faster, smarter, and designed for serious enterprise workloads—without losing its simplicity.

Performance breakthroughs

We introduced parallel task execution, enabling multiple pathways to run simultaneously reducing cycle times dramatically.

Our new Google Sheets processing engine is now 5× faster than before, giving customers speed they’ve never experienced in Salesforce-integrated automation.

Designed for scale

Fusion now supports some of the largest and most complex templates ever built on the platform—processing over 180,000 data points across 24 master transactional tables with precision and reliability.

Quality of life and engineering excellence

We delivered 50+ enhancements focused on usability, maintainability, and performance.

But the real breakthroughs came in how we let teams build smarter automation.

  • Nested workflow support lets you orchestrate workflows within workflows.
  • Workflow dependencies ensure proper sequencing across complex processes.
  • Roll-ups and roll-downs now work across dependent workflows.

These aren't small improvements—they fundamentally change how teams approach high-complexity automation at enterprise scale. What used to require custom code now works through visual configuration.

Fusion has become the backbone for customers running mission-critical automation—and next year, we’ll take another leap forward.

Market acceleration: Where we are driving real demand

This year, we saw unprecedented market interest in what we're building - validation that came from the industry itself.

Our customer base expanded significantly. We welcomed new logos across sports, NGOs, healthcare, and semiconductor manufacturing—organizations choosing Valorx for both Wave and Fusion.

These are just nine of several dozen new customers we added this year. Each represents a different industry, a different workflow, yet the same underlying truth: they all needed what we built.

That interest and growth showed up everywhere we looked.

Dreamforce 2025 amplified our market opportunity.

Our booth became a community gathering spot, and the curiosity was undeniable. Everyone wanted to understand the same thing: how do you bring Excel's flexibility into Salesforce?

What we showed them resonated deeply. The energy, the conversations, the never-ending swag line (seriously, it never ended 😅)—it all pointed to one truth: the market is hungry for what we're solving.

Dreamforce reminded us how strong the demand is for tools that eliminate spreadsheet chaos and unlock real productivity inside Salesforce.

The Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud event revealed another layer of opportunity.

A day before Dreamforce officially kicked off, we presented at the Salesforce Semiconductor & Manufacturing Cloud Summit—one of the standout moments of the year.

Gopi Ramineni, founder of Gerent (now acquired by TELUS Digital) and one of the largest Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud implementers, shared the stage with us. So did some of Qualcomm's top IT leaders. They all shared the same insight: fragmented workflows, spreadsheet chaos, desperate need for real-time S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) decision-making.

What struck me most—and honestly, what got me most excited—was the alignment. These leaders didn't see Valorx as a feature or a bolt-on. They saw it as the missing piece in their cloud strategy.

Pranav Shah, CEO, Valorx

Manufacturing at scale demands seamless collaboration without exporting data out of Salesforce. That requirement—that validation—extends our vision far beyond Salesforce use cases. It proves workflow chaos and data silos are universal problems. They're not Salesforce-specific. They're enterprise-wide.

The next era: Intelligence-driven experiences

We've been building elegant user experiences for six years.

We started with one product. Then two. This year, we expanded to three product surfaces—Wave Embedded, Fusion, and Matrix.

Each with its own mission. Each solving distinct problems. But they all share the same DNA: the obsession with building interfaces that make hard problems feel simple.

Now we're taking that obsession into the era of AI. Across Wave, Fusion, and emerging product surfaces, we're embedding AI-powered interfaces that understand intent, anticipate actions, and remove friction before it slows teams down. This isn't a roadmap item—it's our north star guiding every product decision today.

Our vision is simple: intelligence should work everywhere your teams work.

Pranav Shah, CEO, Valorx

That's why we're architecting solutions that work seamlessly across other clouds and platforms. Enterprise software should enhance your existing investments, not demand you rebuild your entire stack. We're expanding beyond Salesforce into supply chain, operations, and every workflow where teams are drowning in complexity—because the problem we solve isn't Salesforce-specific. It's universal.

Our Vision

We're designing a future where:

Systems do the heavy lifting, freeing humans for judgment and strategy.

Insights appear before questions are asked.

Productivity scales exponentially, not linearly.

AI amplifies human capability across every application you use.

Gratitude and collaboration

  1. To our customers—thank you for trusting us to solve meaningful problems. Your feedback fuels every product decision we make, and your ambition pushes us forward.
  2. To our partners—thank you for helping us expand our impact across industries and geographies.
  3. And to our team—your grit, speed, and relentless pursuit of excellence built this year. You turned vision into execution, and execution into results. Our year was punctuated by moments that brought us together. Malaysia in Q1 for our India team's offsite. May, when I visited India and we ventured outside Ahmedabad. And November in Las Vegas, post-Dreamforce, with our US team.

These moments are what make the wins meaningful. It's not just about shipping products; it's about doing it with people you trust and enjoy.

The best product outcomes come from teams that trust each other, push each other, and genuinely enjoy the journey together.

The road ahead

2026 will be a year of acceleration. We're delivering at breakneck speed—over 200 features in 2025 alone. Yet customer demand keeps accelerating; we're seeing 35+ feature requests per month.

We haven't matched that pace yet, and honestly? That's the best problem to have. It's exactly the challenge we embrace. It means we're building something customers desperately want.

We have a long way to go, and that momentum fuels us forward as we strengthen fundamentals, scale intelligently, and continue building the fastest, most flexible, and most intuitive data productivity platform in the world

The best version of Valorx is still ahead. Grateful for 2025 and inspired for 2026; thank you for being part of this journey. Let’s build what’s next—together.
